Central Academy is seeking a creative and passionate Art & Craft Teacher for Primary and Secondary classes. The ideal candidate should have strong artistic skills and the ability to nurture creativity, imagination, and self-expression among students through engaging and activity-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Art & Craft to primary and secondary students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
- Plan and conduct creative, hands-on sessions including drawing, painting, sketching, clay modeling, paper craft, and other artistic activities.
- Encourage originality, imagination, and aesthetic sense among students.
- Organize and prepare materials required for art activities and projects.
- Display students’ artwork on notice boards and during exhibitions or school events.
- Create a positive and inspiring classroom environment that promotes creativity.
- Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain records of attendance and student performance.
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, competitions, and co-curricular activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts or related field.
- B.Ed. (preferred).
- Prior teaching experience will be an advantage.
- Strong artistic and creative skills.
- Good communication and classroom management abilities.
- Patience and ability to motivate and engage students.
Preferred Experience
- Experience teaching CBSE curriculum.
- Familiarity with various art techniques and digital art tools.
- Experience in organizing art exhibitions and competitions.
