Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets based on drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Review tender documents, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
- Perform quantity takeFo-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Analyze material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Prepare tender submissions, cost proposals, and bid documents.
- Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure accurate estimations.
- Identify project risks and recommend cost-effective alternatives through value engineering.
- Maintain records of estimates, quotations, tender documents, and cost reports.
- Assist in post-tender negotiations and project handover to the execution team.
- Monitor project costs and compare actual costs with estimated budgets.
- Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications and company standards.
Requirements:
- B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in the construction or real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, and cost analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software is preferred.
