Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and creative Dance Teacher to inspire students and develop their skills in various dance forms. The ideal candidate should be capable of planning engaging dance lessons, preparing students for performances and competitions, and fostering confidence, discipline, and teamwork through dance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured dance lessons for students across different grade levels.
- Teach one or more dance styles such as Classical, Contemporary, Folk, Hip-Hop, Western, or Creative Dance.
- Choreograph performances for annual functions, cultural events, assemblies, and competitions.
- Encourage student participation and nurture talent through regular practice sessions.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain discipline and ensure student safety during dance classes and rehearsals.
- Coordinate with school management and other faculty members for events and performances.
- Maintain attendance records and lesson plans.
- Promote physical fitness, creativity, confidence, and teamwork among students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
- Professional training or certification in Dance from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching or choreography experience in a school or dance academy (preferred).
- Freshers with exceptional dance skills and strong teaching ability may also apply.
