he Head Barista is responsible for overseeing daily coffee operations, maintaining beverage quality standards, training barista staff, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role combines leadership, coffee expertise, and operational management to create a high-quality café experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoffee & Beverage Operations
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages.
- Maintain consistency in drink quality and presentation.
- Develop seasonal beverage menus and recipes.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of coffee equipment.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and guide barista staff during shifts.
- Train new employees on coffee preparation, hygiene, and customer service.
- Schedule shifts and monitor staff performance.
- Foster teamwork and a positive work environment.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Handle customer complaints professionally.
- Build customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies inventory.
- Coordinate with suppliers and place orders when needed.
- Minimize wastage and control costs.
Hygiene & Safety
- Ensure cleanliness of café and workstations.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain compliance with health regulations.
Sales & Business Support
- Support sales targets and promotional activities.
- Monitor daily sales and operational reports.
- Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
