An Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and providing therapeutic interventions for children with developmental, sensory, behavioral, physical, and learning difficulties. The therapist works closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to help children improve their daily living, motor, sensory, social, and functional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and other related conditions.
- Prepare individualized therapy plans based on the child’s needs and goals.
- Conduct occupational therapy sessions to improve fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory integration, hand-eye coordination, and daily living skills.
- Monitor and record each child’s progress regularly.
- Guide parents regarding home-based activities and therapy support.
- Coordinate with special educators, speech therapists, psychologists, behavior therapists, and other team members.
- Prepare therapy reports, assessment reports, and progress reports.
- Maintain therapy records, case files, and documentation accurately.
- Participate in parent meetings, case discussions, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Ensure therapy equipment and materials are used safely and maintained properly.
- Follow the policies, ethics, and confidentiality requirements of the institution.
- Support awareness programs, workshops, camps, and other institutional activities when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid registration with the relevant professional council, if applicable.
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.
- Knowledge of sensory integration, child development, autism, ADHD, and developmental disorders.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
