Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Steward to provide excellent food and beverage service to guests. The ideal candidate will ensure a pleasant dining experience by maintaining high service standards, assisting guests, and supporting restaurant operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages as per service standards.
- Set up and clear tables before, during, and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and restaurant premises.
- Ensure guests' needs are attended to promptly and professionally.
- Handle guest queries and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Assist with restaurant opening and closing duties.
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Support team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 10th/12th pass or equivalent qualification.
- 0–2 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or hospitality establishments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with a positive personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Good grooming and professional appearance.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Basic understanding of restaurant POS systems.
- Teamwork and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally.
