- Collecting, receiving, labelling, and/or analysing samples using the correct testing equipment, when necessary.
- Executing laboratory testing in line with standard testing procedures, recording observations, and interpreting findings.
- Ensuring the completion of the tests as per the defined TAT. Evaluate and document the reason for any outlier.
- Adherence to IQC & EQAS/ILC schedule and perform quality control tests in the lab as per the defined protocol.
- To perform root cause analysis in case of outliers. Document the corrective action and preventive action.
- Cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
- Ensure completion of maintenance and calibration of the equipment as per the defined schedule for the availability of the instrument to perform analysis
- Ensuring that safety guidelines regarding biohazard material as per local guideline are adhered to at all times within the laboratory.
- Organizing and storing all chemical substances, fluids, reagent kits and other accessory materials according to safety instructions.
- Preparation of the department for internal and external audits.
- Keep up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments
