ABOUT THE ROLE
UNV Digital is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager who can identify business opportunities, generate leads, build strong client relationships, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business acquisition for the agency. The role requires the candidates to do the following:
→ Researching potential markets
→ Identifying decision-makers
→ Generating leads through multiple channels
→ Conducting meetings
→ Presenting agency services
→ Negotiating proposals
→ Closing deals
The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B sales, digital marketing services sales, or agency business development and possess excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1] Business Development and Lead Generation
- Research industries, markets, and companies with potential digital marketing requirements.
- Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, networking events, referrals, cold calling, and other prospecting methods.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Identify new business opportunities across various industries and geographies - nationally and internationally.
2] Client Acquisition
- Schedule and conduct online and in-person meetings with prospects.
- Understand client challenges, business objectives, and marketing requirements.
- Present agency services and customized growth solutions.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and business pitches.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
3] Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Act as a primary point of contact during the sales process.
- Ensure smooth transition of projects to internal delivery teams.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling agency services.
4] Market Research
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Analyze market opportunities and recommend business growth strategies.
- Track emerging industries and sectors with high demand for digital marketing services.
5] Sales Performance
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Prepare regular sales reports and pipeline forecasts.
- Continuously improve conversion rates and sales effectiveness.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong B2B sales and business development experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts and services.
- Experience in lead generation, cold outreach and client acquisition in national and international markets.
- Ability to conduct professional sales presentations and business meetings.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and result-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Prior experience in a Digital Marketing Agency, Advertising Agency, IT Services Company, SaaS Company, or Marketing Consultancy.
Existing network of business owners, marketing heads, founders, or decision-makers is a plus.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Fixed Salary: As per experience and capability
Performance Incentives:
