WHAT’S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?
To strengthen and modernize and support by delivering secure, scalable SAP PI/PO, CPI, and EDI solutions, ensuring smooth data exchange across business processes and trading partners. By combining technical expertise with strong communication and problem-solving skills, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technology, driving operational excellence, enforcing integration standards, and enabling collaboration across teams.
Contribute to the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP/Non-SAP medium size Integration solutions.
Take responsibility of all phases of the project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and post-production support/maintenance.
Assist in the development and enforcement of Integration/EDI standards to provided best practices to deliver stable, reliable and highly available solutions.
Assist and peer review technical designs and architectures for development projects.
Demonstrate effective and collaborative communication with internal team members and Business Partners.
Coordinate project tasks and ensure accurate estimates are provided for completion of business solutions.
Research and debug potential performance or other system anomalies. (i.e. demonstrate superior problem resolution)
Take ownership of all existing point-to-point, non-PI/PO interfaces and convert mission-critical interfaces to SAP PO based integrations.
Implement electronic data interchange to support electronic transfer of orders, product information, shipping status, and the like.
Create and compile technical documentation including unit, integration, and acceptance test plans, support documentation, end user documentation for delivered solutions and other tasks
Establish, document and monitor EDI/Integration standards for software compatibility, protocols, operating procedures, system implementation, and on-going modifications.
Communicate status of projects and initiatives to management.
Develop, implement, and enforce day-to-day support policies and procedures.
Should be able to pick 1st, 2nd or 3rd line support issues/problems for Integration services.
A true team player, contributing to the success of team and department.
Good to have: Basic experience of project management & operations management in a mid-sized IT landscape.
Mentoring any non-experienced team member and bring him/her up to the speed.
What you’ll be doing:
8+ years of hands-on experience in Integration technologies, with strong expertise in SAP PI/PO as the core platform, along with additional experience in SAP Integration Suite (CPI/Cloud Integration, API Management) and/or other modern cloud-based integration technologies.
Demonstrates strong analytical skill. Ability to work directly with business analysts to translate complex functional design into technical specifications. Able to grasp requirements quickly and anticipate potential future requirements.
Ability to grasp business process knowledge across many areas with ability to provide context to requirements.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including ability to conduct formal and informal presentations and workshops with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business.
In-depth knowledge of configuration, development, multi-tiered architecture, cross functional integration
Excellent working knowledge of SAP PI/PO upgrade processes and all aspects of system testing.
Advanced knowledge of latest development tools for SAP, EDI technologies.
Excellent hands on and problem-solving skill in SAP PO. Core/Basic java Skills required for Interface development.
Hands on experience in SAP CPI and setting up the landscape for SAP CPI.
Able to work extended or non-standard hours(UK/US Shifts) to support business needs and project deadlines if needed.
Should have worked on build, test, and support of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) interfaces with various trading partners and webservice based integration with internal/external business applications.
Strong exposure to ABAP proxy developments, ALE, IDOC, General ABAP programming
Must have working experience in Development, Upgrade, Support projects.
Experience working with api technologies like SOAP, SFTP, REST, ODATA etc
Experience working with VAN providers and managed service like OpenText, GXS, IBM VAN etc.
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate and interpret technical problems/solutions to non-technical users.

Experience in Data integration tools - ETL.
