Job Summary:-
Responsible for preparing and monitoring production plans to ensure smooth manufacturing operations, timely delivery, optimum inventory levels, and efficient utilization of manpower and machines.
Role & responsibilities :-

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and customer orders.

Coordinate with production, procurement, stores, quality, and dispatch departments for smooth workflow.

Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.

Handle Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and ensure material availability.
-
Track Work-in-Progress (WIP) and maintain production status reports.
-
Prepare and maintain production MIS reports and planning documentation.
-
Optimize machine utilization, manpower allocation, and production capacity.
-
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for raw material planning.
-
Ensure adherence to production timelines and dispatch schedules.
-
Work on ERP/SAP systems for production planning and inventory tracking.
-
Identify bottlenecks and support process improvement activities.
-
Maintain inventory control and minimize production delays.
-
Follow quality standards and manufacturing SOPs.
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives like Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen.
