THE ROLE
This role is responsible for end-to-end purchase order management, supplier communication, new development tracking, and cross-functional coordination with stores, accounts, and production. The incumbent will maintain systematic records, generate reports, and ensure supply chain continuity by proactively tracking commitments and flagging deviations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
– Purchase Order Management
Draft, and issue Purchase Orders (POs) to domestic suppliers.
Send approved POs via email and maintain transmission records.
Track PO acknowledgements and confirm delivery schedules with suppliers.
Maintain a live PO register with status updates (open, partial, closed, on hold).
– Supplier Communication & Follow-Up
Maintain regular communication with all active suppliers regarding order status, delivery
timelines, and quality issues.
Take structured follow-up on pending deliveries, dispatch confirmations, and outstanding
queries.
Escalate unresolved issues to the Purchase Manager with a clear action log.
Maintain a supplier-wise communication log updated daily.
– Delay Flags & Exception Reporting
Monitor promised delivery dates vs. actual delivery dates for all open orders.
Raise a delay flag immediately when a supplier commitment is at risk or breached.
Prepare a weekly Supplier Delivery Commitment vs. Achievement Report with percentage
on-time delivery metrics.
Highlight critical shortages or potential production disruptions to relevant stakeholders.
– New Development Tracking
Maintain a New Development Tracker covering all items under development with status,
target dates, and responsible supplier.
Track and file all artwork submissions, artwork approvals, and revision history.
Co-ordinate with suppliers for timely artwork sign-off and trial scheduling.
Follow up on polishing shop trials — log trial dates, outcomes, and pending actions.
Updates to NPD team regarding the material receipt
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
– Educational Qualification - Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or
related field.
– 1–3 years in a CRM, Data analysis
– Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, comparative sheets) and MS Word.
– Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or equivalent) for PO and GRN processing.
– Ability to compile, structure, and present procurement data clearly.
– Understanding of import procedures, Incoterms, customs duty calculations, and freight
documentation.
– Detail-oriented, proactive and well-organized with strong communication skills and the ability to
manage multiple tasks while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
