Job Summary
The Manpower Arranger is responsible for sourcing, mobilizing, and allocating the right numbers of skilled and unskilled workers across various active construction projects. This role balances changing project demands with available labor pools, managing logistics, onboarding, and subcontractor coordination to prevent labor shortages or costly idle time.
Salary: Negotiable, part salary success based/variable/incentive based
Key Responsibilities
- Workforce Scheduling & Allocation: Review weekly schedule updates from Project Managers to forecast labor demands and strategically allocate carpenters, barbinders, masons, electricians, and general laborers.
- Sourcing & Recruitment: Build and maintain relationships with labor subcontractors, trade unions, and recruitment agencies to quickly source qualified workers during peak project phases.
- Mobilization & Logistics: Arrange site transportation, site access passes, and onboarding logistics for newly deployed crews or transferred workers.
- Utilization Optimization: Monitor labor utilization rates across projects to identify surplus labor or shortages, proactively shifting teams between sites to minimize idle time and optimize labor budgets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in workforce coordination, labor scheduling, or recruitment within the construction or contracting industry.
- Key Traits: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, strong problem-solving under pressure, and the logistical mindset needed to manage hundreds of moving pieces.
- Preferably from big construction companies such as Ahluwalia, L&T etc
Pay: ₹420,000.00 - ₹540,000.00 per month
