Summarized Purpose:
We are offering an outstanding opportunity to join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Sr Engineer, Software Quality Assurance. In this role, you will drive manual testing initiatives, lead a team of engineers, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software products aligned with organizational standards.
Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

8-10 years of testing experience with team leadership.
-
Additional relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance (preferred).
Major Job Responsibilities:

Lead testing strategy, planning, and execution.

Mentor and guide team members’ professional development.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality goals.

Ensure quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Oversee test planning, execution, and defect management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Advanced proficiency in system testing methodologies and test documentation creation.

Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing processes.

Advanced knowledge of test planning, execution, error reporting, and verification procedures.

Effective project management and organizational skills.

Experience with API, integration, and data testing.

Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Strong communication and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in deadline-driven environments.

Ability to learn and apply new technologies and software platforms.
