Draftsman
Location: Kubadthal, Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to prepare technical drawings and layouts for fabrication, piping, structural, or engineering projects. The candidate should have experience in creating accurate drawings using CAD software and coordinating with engineers and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and Solidworks.
- Develop fabrication, piping, and structural drawings as per project requirements
- Revise drawings based on engineer/client feedback
- Prepare BOQ and material quantity details from drawings
- Coordinate with project, fabrication, and site teams
- Maintain drawing records and documentation
- Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards and specifications
- Support project execution with accurate drafting and detailing
Requirements
- Diploma/ITI in Draftsmanship, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 2–5 years of drafting experience preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks
- Understanding of fabrication, piping, and structural drawings
- Good technical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial or fabrication projects
- Knowledge of 3D software such as SolidWorks
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
