Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Captain to join our service team at Annapoorna Mithai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the service team on the restaurant floor, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth coordination between kitchen and service staff, and upholding our brand’s service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests courteously, guide them through the menu, and ensure a seamless dining experience
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the service staff (waiters, stewards, and runners)
- Take orders and ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Monitor table turnover, cleanliness, and overall dining room appearance
- Train, motivate, and monitor service staff for performance and grooming standards
- Coordinate with kitchen and cashier teams for order fulfillment and billing
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and service protocols
- Maintain proper documentation and daily service reports
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Captain or Senior Waiter in a reputed restaurant
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good knowledge of Indian cuisine and dining etiquette
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced environment
- Flexible with shifts, weekends, and holiday schedules
- Educational qualification in Hotel Management (preferred, not mandatory)
