To ensure end?to?end execution of new and existing projects—including engineering design, DCS application development, commissioning, stabilization, and process safety management—within defined timelines, optimized cost, and compliance requirements, while driving IMS, OpEx, sustainability, digitization, and continuous improvement across plant operations.

Study existing plant P&IDs and review proposed project P&IDs.

Prepare Basic Engineering Package (BEP) and Detailed Engineering Package (DEP).

Participate in HAZOP studies and incorporate all recommendations into updated P&IDs.

Develop basic and detailed DCS configurations.
-
Develop interlocks and control logic aligned with process and safety needs.

Conduct functional and integrated testing of automation systems.
-
Perform safety checks, including validation of emergency shutdown systems.

Ensure process performance meets operational and safety standards.
-
Certify water trials and water runs as per process criteria.
-
Execute PSSR and sign off on closure of all findings with updated P&IDs.

Validate BCT/PFD of reactions, batch cards, and chemical trials.

Review and approve commissioning trial reports.

Understand process requirements, control parameters, safety needs, and scalability demands.

Define DCS architecture including controllers, HMIs, communication protocols, and data flow.

Develop application features such as control loops, alarms, safety systems, and data logging.

Configure and program DCS logic, control strategies, and I/O systems.

Develop and implement procedures for Management of Change (MOC).

Conduct Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) for approved MOCs.

Perform PSSR for all new facilities and ensure closure of findings.

Ensure effective implementation of IMS, OpEx, and Sustainability systems.

Achieve zero non-conformities in Sustainability, IMS, and ISO audits.

Promote digitization initiatives for enhanced data integrity.

Drive waste minimization and sustainability improvement measures.
