Role Description
Assistant Manager cum Booking Clerk needed in a Transport Company for managing and supervising day-to-day operations. This job requires the Manager to interact, manage, and coordinate with drivers, porters (hamals), and other logistics-related entities. The manager is entrusted to ensure a smooth, incident/issue-free workflow in the office and is the first point of contact regarding everything that relates to the branch. The manager also has to do field visits to customers, vendors, and other related entities. The Job is permanent and requires the individual to work on-site. The primary job of the Assistant Manager are:
- Consignment Booking,
- Challan Entry,
- Vehicle/Fleet Management,
- Supervising Pickup and Delivery of Parcels,
- Loading/Unloading supervision,
- Collection,
- Booking Documentation,
- Invoicing/E-way bill,
- Customer Relations and Coordination,
- Complete Operations Management and Supervision.
