Position: Indian Chef – Commi 1
Location: Urban King Hotel
Job Summary:
Urban King Hotel is looking for a skilled and experienced Indian Chef – Commi 1 to join our kitchen team. The candidate should have good knowledge of Indian cuisine preparation, kitchen operations, food quality standards, and hygiene practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Indian dishes as per hotel standards
- Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
- Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Handle kitchen equipment and ingredients properly
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth operations during service hours
- Follow food safety and hotel policies at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum relevant experience in Indian cuisine
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Flexible to work long and rotational shifts as per operational requirements
