We have an immediate, on-site opening for a Fine Jewelry CAD Designer. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented diamond jewelry professional with strong interpersonal skills that thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Collaborate with CAD team to prepare CAD files for new designs and custom orders.
Collaborate with product development team to understand design requirements.
Translate 2D sketches and 3d files into production ready CAD files.
Received feedback and make revisions to CAD files to capture design intent.
Prior experience in CAD for fine jewelry
Professional fluency in English, with excellent communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
Experience with Rhino, Matrix, including SubD modeling.
Familiarity with fine jewelry terminology and design
Ability to anticipate manufacturing issues
Ability to interpret sketches and ensure they are accurately translated into 3D
Familiarity with fine jewelry construction and tolerances
Bench jewelry making experience a plus
