About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor & Centre Coordinator who can handle student counselling, admissions, business development activities, and daily centre operations. The candidate will be responsible for converting inquiries into admissions, conducting follow-ups, organizing seminars, coordinating with colleges, managing student records, and ensuring smooth functioning of the training centre.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdmissions & Counselling
- Handle incoming leads, inquiries, and student walk-ins.
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, and training programs.
- Follow up with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and meetings.
- Convert inquiries into admissions and achieve monthly admission targets.
- Maintain lead and admission records in CRM/Excel.
Business Development & Marketing
- Plan and execute activities to increase admissions and business growth.
- Organize seminars, workshops, career guidance sessions, and promotional events.
- Coordinate with colleges, schools, and educational institutions for seminars and tie-ups.
- Develop strategies to generate new leads and improve student enrollment.
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and industry partners.
Centre Operations & Administration
- Manage student batches, attendance, and scheduling.
- Coordinate with trainers and students for smooth batch operations.
- Handle fee collection, payment follow-ups, and receipt management.
- Maintain student records, certificates, and documentation.
- Ensure proper functioning of day-to-day centre activities.
- Prepare reports related to admissions, collections, and student performance.
Student Support
- Address student queries and concerns professionally.
- Support placement activities, interviews, and student engagement programs.
- Ensure a positive learning experience for all students.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and counselling skills.
- Strong sales and admission conversion abilities.
- Confidence in conducting presentations and seminars.
- Good organizational and administrative skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Email, and CRM tools.
- Ability to multitask and manage centre operations effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.
- Experience in Education, Training, EdTech, Counselling, Admissions, Telecalling, or Sales preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication and convincing skills may also apply.
