1. Role Purpose
To own the complete physical infrastructure of BFPL — from setting up new branches end-to-end within timelines, to maintaining all existing branch facilities in fully operational condition.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. New Branch Setup (Primary Mandate — End-to-End Ownership)
- Own the full branch setup lifecycle — from shortlisted location to operational, fit-out-ready branch
- Evaluate and finalise locations on facility / site parameters (space, layout suitability, power, safety, accessibility)
- Negotiate rent, deposit, and terms with shop / property owners; coordinate lease / agreement paperwork with relevant teams
- Plan and execute fit-out — civil work, interiors, electricals, security infrastructure, signage, furniture
- Coordinate all vendors and contractors to deliver branch readiness within committed timelines
- Track each setup against a defined project plan; escalate delays early with corrective action
B. Facility Maintenance & Issue Resolution
- Resolve all branch facility issues — electrical, plumbing, civil, AC, fixtures, signage, security systems
- Maintain a single tracker of facility complaints with turnaround times across all branches
- Ensure minimal operational downtime; prioritise issues by branch-impact
C. AMC & Contract Management
- Set up and manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for critical assets — AC, DG / UPS, fire safety, security / CCTV, etc.
- Maintain an AMC calendar — renewals, preventive maintenance schedules, service compliance
- Ensure no critical AMC lapses across any branch
D. Vendor Coordination & Payments
- Identify, onboard, and manage facility vendors and contractors across regions
- Obtain competitive quotes; negotiate rates and terms to control cost
- Verify work completion, validate invoices, and process payments with proper documentation and approvals
- Maintain an approved vendor list with rate cards and performance records
E. Vehicle Repair & Maintenance
- Manage repair, servicing, and maintenance of company vehicles
- Maintain service schedules, records, insurance, and renewals
- Coordinate vehicle-related vendor work and verify billing
F. Records, Cost & Reporting
- Maintain complete records — agreements, AMCs, asset registers, vendor contracts, vehicle documents
- Track and report facility spend against budget; flag cost overruns
- Report branch setup status, open facility issues, and AMC compliance to MD periodically
