Job Summary
We are looking for a NICMAR fresher to join our Estimation & Tendering team and support the preparation of cost estimates and commercial proposals for commercial interior fit-out projects. The role will involve understanding project drawings and BOQs, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, vendor/subcontractor coordination, and preparation of tender estimates. This is an entry-level opportunity for a candidate looking to build a career in interior fit-out estimation and commercial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and tender proposals for commercial interior fit-out projects.
- Study and understand BOQs, tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Assist in quantity take-off from drawings and BOQs.
- Prepare and maintain rate analysis for materials, labour, subcontract works, and other project requirements.
- Coordinate with Procurement and vendors for material rates and quotations.
- Assist in obtaining and comparing vendor/subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare comparative statements and support commercial evaluation.
- Assist in preparing project-wise costing and estimates.
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions, and variations in tender documents.
- Coordinate with Design, Projects, Procurement, QS, and MEP teams for technical and commercial inputs.
- Maintain rate databases and estimation records for future tenders.
- Assist in preparing tender submissions within specified timelines.
- Support senior team members in value engineering and cost optimization.
- Maintain estimation trackers, MIS, and tender documentation.
- Develop an understanding of interior fit-out materials, construction methods, and project costs.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation
- NICMAR qualification is mandatory – candidates from NICMAR only.
- PG Diploma / MBA / PG in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Project Management, Real Estate & Infrastructure Management, or related discipline from NICMAR.
- Candidates with a Civil Engineering background along with NICMAR qualification will be preferred.
Experience
- Freshers / 0–1 year experience.
- Candidates with internship/project exposure in estimation, quantity surveying, tendering, costing, or commercial interior fit-out will be preferred.

- Basic understanding of BOQ and quantity take-off
- Basic rate analysis and cost estimation
- Understanding of construction/interior fit-out materials
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
- Basic knowledge of tendering and bidding processes
- MS Excel and MS Office
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
- Good numerical and analytical skills

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
