Job Summary
The school is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable TGT – Mathematics teacher to teach students at the middle and secondary level. The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging mathematics lessons, strengthening students’ conceptual understanding, and supporting their academic development through effective teaching methods and continuous assessment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Classroom Management
- Plan and deliver effective mathematics lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach mathematical concepts clearly using practical examples and interactive teaching methods.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
2. Lesson Planning & Curriculum Implementation
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials aligned with the curriculum.
- Use different teaching strategies to address diverse learning needs.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching tools where appropriate.
3. Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring
- Conduct tests, assignments, and evaluations to assess students’ progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and additional support to students who require improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance.
4. Student Development & Guidance
- Encourage logical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
- Support students in preparing for examinations, competitions, and academic activities.
- Address academic concerns and guide students for better understanding of mathematical concepts.
5. Administrative & School Responsibilities
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and academic planning activities.
- Maintain required academic records, reports, and documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management to support overall student development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics with B.Ed.
- Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience at middle or secondary school level.
- Strong command over mathematical concepts and teaching methodologies.
