Role: -
Design & Development for Instrument Cluster
Responsibilities:
Design and develop advanced automotive instrument clusters from concept to production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, specifications, and architecture.
Create schematics, layouts, and 3D models using CAD software (UGNx).
Instrument Clusters hardware schematic & BOM understanding
Understanding of optics & display technologies like LCD & TFT.
Testing/Validation of parts (Vehicle & Part level) and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams during production.
Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure that our designs remain competitive.
Quality issues analysis and countermeasure
Project Management & Co-ordination with supplier.
Add UI details,
Design High level mock-up, creating wireframes, prototypes to illustrate interaction flow
Work alongside software requirement engineers to prepare the interaction needed for Instrument panel cluster system
Delivery user friendly interaction design proposals
Present design work to multiple internal stakeholders & senior leadership for review & feedback
Proficient with rapid proto-typing tool & visualization tools such as Adobe XD, Adobe photoshop, Figma etc.
Working experience in HMI tool-chain: Qt & CGI studio
Competency Requirements: -
Technical/Functional skills: -
Good knowledge of ICs, Digital Clusters & Digital Cockpits systems.
Knowledge of automotive relevant safety standards like AIS, IS11827, ECE, ISO 26262…
Proficiency in DMU/CAD data preparation/checking in UGNx.
Working exposure of GUI tools like Qt, CGI studio…
Experience with development on SoC & Microcontroller platforms.
Experience of complete lifecycle of design and development for at least 01 part/model.
Behavioral skills: -
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Co-ordinate department activities and represent in various forums.
Good Interpersonal, Communication & Presentation skills.
