Regulation engineer - Environment & Circular Economy Regulations/Environment & Sustainability Regulations
Job Responsibilities :
Exposure & Understanding of latest environmental regulations in India, including:
Circular economy for End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV), AIS-129, Vehicle Scrappage Policy, Registered Vehicles Scrapping Facility (RVSF) rules
Waste management rules for batteries, tires, plastics etc. and related EPR guidelines
Understanding & exposure of important environmental subjects like REACH, SoCs, PoPs, ICAP, HFC phase down etc.
Understanding of important International conventions and treaties related to the environment like Montreal Protocol & Kigali amendment, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions etc.
Tracking of government/courts orders and guidelines related to environments impacting automotive industry.
Analyze new and existing environment regulations to determine their impact on the company's operations and products.
Participate in industry discussions and meetings related to environmental regulations.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of environmental regulations and best practices.
Prepare reports and presentations on environmental regulations for internal stakeholders and external meetings.
Communicate regulatory changes to relevant departments within the company in a timely manner.
Maintain a comprehensive database of relevant regulations and ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding regulatory compliance issues.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure vehicle designs and manufacturing processes meet environmental standards.
Competency Requirement: -
Exposure to Environment & Sustainable regulation, EPRs, Waste Management Rules, ELVs/RVSF etc.
Preferred Skills:
Good Communication & presentation skills, influencing & negotiation skills, networking skills, team player.
Good exposure to MS Office tools.
Others:
B.E. / B.Tech[Mechanical/Automobile/Electronics and communication etc.] with Minimum 60 % marks
Years of experience: Should have 2-14 years
