Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Tester (Fresher) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing concepts, automation tools, and programming fundamentals. Fresh graduates with a passion for software quality and automation are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts under the guidance of senior team members.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to understand application requirements.
- Participate in test planning, test case creation, and execution.
- Assist in API testing and database validation.
- Ensure software quality by reporting bugs and verifying fixes.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new testing tools and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, MCA, BCA, or a related field.
- 2025 or 2026 graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Understanding of Manual Testing concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Java or Python.
- Familiarity with Selenium is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of SQL and API testing is preferred.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
