We are looking for a reliable and professional Driver to join our team at AS TOURS & TRAVELS. You will be responsible for transporting our clients to their destinations safely, comfortably, and on time. As the face of our company on the road, you will provide exceptional service, ensuring every journey is a pleasant experience for our passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Transportation: Safely operate company vehicles to transport passengers on local and long-distance tours, airport transfers, and customized travel itineraries.
- Route Planning: Use GPS applications and local knowledge to determine the most efficient routes, accounting for traffic and weather conditions.
- Customer Service: Greet passengers professionally, assist with boarding/disembarking, and handle luggage with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip inspections (brakes, oil, fuel, tires) and maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness, both inside and out.
- Local Assistance: Answer passenger questions about local sights, culture, and points of interest when requested.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate trip logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and receipts for tolls or parking fees.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Licensing: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no recent traffic violations.
- Experience: Minimum of years of professional driving experience, preferably in the tourism or hospitality sector.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to speak [e.g., English, Hindi, local language] fluently is a plus.
- Navigation: Proficiency in using modern navigation tools and mobile apps.
- Attributes: Punctual, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure or in heavy traffic.
