About the Opportunity
Standard Securities & Investment Intermediates Ltd. is a growing stock broking firm seeking energetic, ambitious, and persuasive Sales Interns to join our team at our office in Lajpat Nagar-2, New Delhi.
This is a great opportunity for students and recent graduates who want to build a career in the financial services industry, particularly in mutual funds distribution. You will directly engage with prospective clients, help them invest in mutual funds through our brokerage, and provide ongoing service.
Leads will be provided by the company. Strong performance during the 6-month internship can lead to full-time employment with the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact prospective clients (via calls, WhatsApp, etc.) using provided leads.
- Understand clients’ financial goals and recommend suitable mutual fund investment options.
- Convince and convert prospects into investors through our platform.
- Provide regular service and support to clients (follow-ups, query resolution, portfolio updates).
- Achieve monthly sales/investment targets.
- Maintain accurate client interaction records in the CRM.
- Work from office and collaborate with the sales & operations team.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent communication skills (Hindi + English – must be fluent and confident).
- Strong convincing and persuasion skills with a positive, customer-oriented attitude.
- Interest in stock market, mutual funds, and personal finance.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and comfort with digital tools.
- Pursuing or completed graduation (any stream). Freshers are welcome.
Preferred (but not mandatory):
- Prior experience in sales, telecalling, or customer service.
- Basic knowledge of mutual funds or NISM certification.
Compensation & Benefits
- Fixed Stipend: ₹6,000 per month
- Variable Incentive: 15% on achieving/exceeding monthly targets
