Legal Intern – Corporate, HR, Compliance & Risk Management

We are looking for proactive and business-focused Legal Interns to support management in contracts, employee legal matters, compliance, documentation, intellectual property (IP) protection, and internal risk management.
Role Overview
This is a high-responsibility role offering direct exposure to real corporate legal operations in a fast-growing IT company.
We are looking for highly proactive, smart, and execution-driven Legal Interns to support management in corporate legal matters, intellectual property protection, employee legal processes, compliance, contracts, and internal risk management.
This role offers direct exposure to real business legal operations and an opportunity to work closely with leadership on strategic and sensitive matters.
Key Responsibilities
A. Corporate Legal & Documentation
- Draft, review, and maintain appointment letters, NDAs, confidentiality agreements, service agreements, vendor contracts, notices, and internal legal documents.
- Organize legal records, employee files, and contract repositories.
- Track agreement renewals, expiries, and pending signatures.
B. Intellectual Property (IP) Protection
- Support implementation of IP ownership systems for employees, developers, freelancers, and vendors.
- Maintain records for source code ownership, creative assets, websites, applications, branding materials, and proprietary processes.
- Assist in protecting company trademarks, domains, confidential know-how, and internal assets.
- Coordinate on IP misuse, unauthorized copying, or confidentiality concerns.
C. HR Legal & Employee Matters
- Assist management in warning letters, show-cause notices, absenteeism issues, notice period cases, exits, and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure legally compliant documentation for employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Support asset recovery and confidentiality acknowledgments during exits.
D. Compliance & Risk Management
- Help maintain company policies related to confidentiality, workplace conduct, attendance, data security, and business ethics.
- Identify legal or operational risks proactively and report to management.
- Maintain trackers, dashboards, and monthly legal/compliance reports.
E. Legal Research & External Coordination
- Conduct research on labor law, contracts, cyber issues, IP matters, and corporate compliance.
- Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, or authorities when required.
- Prepare concise management briefs and action notes.
Candidate Profile
- Pursuing or completed LLB / BA LLB / BBA LLB / LLM.
- Strong drafting and communication skills in English.
- Good understanding of contracts, IP basics, employment law, and compliance.
- Strong ownership mindset with urgency and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle confidential matters professionally.
- Organized, disciplined, and solution-oriented.

Pay: ₹8,247.75 - ₹15,256.38 per month
