Field Sales Executive
Role Summary
An aggressive field sales person who owns the entire sales cycle for Aggregates manufacturing Company— from spotting a construction site to getting the first order and maintaining the relationship.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily field visits — construction sites, building projects, contractors, civil engineers, builders
- Identify new leads proactively (open plots being developed, new building permits, infrastructure projects)
- Pitch products — aggregate, crusher output, stone chips — against competitors
- Negotiate rates and finalize orders on the spot or bring to office for closing
- Follow up on pending orders, delivery timelines, and payment collection
- Maintain a daily lead tracker (Google Sheet) — visited sites, contact details, status, next action
- Send end-of-day field report to you via WhatsApp
- Coordinate with crusher operations team on availability before confirming orders
- Build long-term relationships with contractors, masons, civil engineers, and project managers
Must-Have
- Proven field sales experience — minimum 2–4 years
- Prior industry background in construction materials, cement, steel, TMT bars, bricks, or sand
- Own two-wheeler — non-negotiable, daily travel required
- Strong Tamil communication — confident, persuasive on-site
- Smartphone proficient — WhatsApp, Google Maps, Google Sheets
Nice to Have
- Existing contractor / builder network in Madurai region
- Basic knowledge of construction project stages (foundation, structure, finishing) — helps time the pitch right
- Hindi helpful for dealing with north Indian contractors on large projects
Personality Fit
This role needs someone who is self-driven and doesn't need to be told to go out every morning.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
