Job Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for managing all store and warehouse operations in a textile manufacturing facility. This includes receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of raw materials, fabrics, yarn, dyes, chemicals, packing materials, spare parts, and finished goods. The role ensures inventory accuracy, timely material availability, efficient warehouse operations, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily store and warehouse operations.
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials.
- Issue materials to production departments against authorized requisitions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
- Manage storage of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock movement reports.
- Ensure compliance with FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expired, First Out), where applicable.
- Supervise store personnel and allocate daily work responsibilities.
- Maintain proper documentation for goods receipt, issue, transfer, and returns.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory control and warehouse efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in store or warehouse management, preferably in the textile or garment manufacturing industry.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
