About The Role:-
We are looking for Senior PHP Developers who are experts in Symfony, Laravel and other frameworks to join our Engineering Team.
Position:- Senior PHP Developer
Experience:- Those with 4+ years of solid hands on, software development experience should apply for this position.
What You'll Do Most Of The Time:-
- Design, develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise-grade software solutions using PHP and its frameworks.
- Write high quality code by incorporating software best practices and write unit tests.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communicate proactively with your team and stakeholders about your progress, roadblocks, and potential delays.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of the development process.
- Participate in technical design discussions and provide recommendations for improving application architecture and design
- Find opportunities for simplifying complex projects, systems, services and processes.
- Keep on top of the latest trends in the PHP/WordPress development domain.
- Give talks about using a new feature/product.
What You'll Need To Qualify:-
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in PHP.
- 4+ years of experience building complex web applications using HTML, CSS and Javascript / AJAX / JQuery or any other Javascript frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience with at least one PHP framework preferably Symfony or Laravel.
- 2+ years of experience with one or more Web servers like Apache or NGinx.
- Hands-on experience working with Elasticsearch is a plus.
- Hands-on experience working on a Unix or Linux platform.
- B.E., B.Tech or an advanced degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, algorithms and data structures.
- Solid software development background including design patterns, system design and test driven development.
Preferred Skills:-
It’s okay if you don’t have all of these skills, but be excited about learning the ones you don’t know yet.
- Experience working in the eCommerce domain.
- Good knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies like AWS EC2, AWS RDS, S3, AWS Lambda AWS WAF & Shield, AWS VPC and Cloudfront.
- Experience working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Good knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies like AWS EC2, AWS RDS, S3 and Cloudfront.
- Knowledge of Python, Bash Shell scripting, or other scripting languages.
- Understanding of creating CI/CD pipelines using Ansible or any other orchestration tool.
- Familiarity with distributed systems.
