We are looking for a Hardware & Firmware Test Engineer who will be responsible for validating embedded systems, ensuring product reliability, and identifying issues across hardware and firmware layers. The role involves hands-on testing, debugging, and collaborating with development teams to improve system performance and stability.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform hardware and firmware testing for embedded systems and IoT devices
- Analyze circuit designs, schematics, and PCB layouts to support testing.
- Develop and execute test cases (functional, regression, and negative testing).
- Identify, isolate, and debug issues; perform root cause analysis.
- Validate communication protocols such as UART, RS485, I2C, SPI, TCP/IP, and MQTT.
- Conduct firmware flashing, upgrades, and log analysis.
- Use testing and debugging tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, serial tools, and network analyzers.
- Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to resolve defects.
- Document bugs clearly and track them through proper reporting systems.
- Support IoT workflows including data flow validation and OTA updates.
- Ensure product quality in domains such as EV chargers, smart devices, or energy systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of basic electronics (voltage, current, components, circuits).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and PCB layouts.
- Knowledge of embedded systems (microcontrollers, memory, interrupts, watchdog timers).
- Familiarity with firmware concepts (Embedded C, logic flow, debugging).
- Experience with communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, RS485, TCP/IP, MQTT).
- Hands-on experience in hardware/firmware testing and debugging.
- Exposure to IoT systems and cloud integration basics.
- Understanding of firmware flashing and diagnostic log analysis.
