We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC & VMC Operator to operate and monitor CNC Turning and Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for the production of precision components. The ideal candidate should be able to read engineering drawings, perform machine setup, inspect finished parts, and maintain quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Turning and VMC machines according to production schedules.
- Perform machine setup, workpiece loading/unloading, and tool offset adjustments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Conduct tool changes and ensure proper tooling for each operation.
- Measure and inspect machined components using Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure components meet dimensional and quality specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain production records, inspection reports, and shift documentation.
- Follow 5S, safety, and quality standards on the shop floor.
- Minimize material wastage and machine downtime.
- Coordinate with supervisors, quality inspectors, and maintenance teams to achieve production targets.
