The Indian Academy is looking for a reliable and skilled Electrician to maintain and repair the electrical systems across the school campus. The ideal candidate should ensure uninterrupted power supply, carry out preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to electrical issues while maintaining a safe environment for students and staff. Typical electrician duties include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, fans, switches, sockets, and distribution boards.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly and safely.
- Maintain DG sets, electrical panels, and backup power systems.
- Assist with electrical work during school events and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and school policies.
- Maintain records of repairs and report major issues to the administration.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Electrician or a related trade.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and respond to emergency repairs.
- Responsible, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
