Job Summary:
The Workshop Manager is responsible for overall workshop operations, service quality, customer satisfaction, manpower management, and profitability of the service department. The role includes ensuring smooth workshop functioning, achieving service targets, maintaining process adherence, and delivering excellent customer experience as per Bajaj standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day workshop operations efficiently.
- Ensure timely servicing and delivery of customer vehicles.
- Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, and labor utilization.
- Achieve monthly service revenue and labor targets.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and improve NPS/CSI scores.
- Ensure implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor quality of repair work and reduce repeat complaints.
- Handle customer grievances and ensure quick resolution.
- Manage technicians, service advisors, washing staff, and support teams.
- Conduct regular team training and skill development activities.
- Ensure availability of spare parts coordination with parts department.
- Monitor AMC, RSA, insurance, and service campaign execution.
- Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Prepare daily/monthly MIS reports and performance analysis.
- Ensure proper use of digital tools and process compliance.
Required Skills:

- Good technical knowledge of motorcycles and workshop operations.

- Knowledge of dealership management systems and reporting.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Qualification:
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering preferred.
- Graduate with relevant automobile workshop experience may also apply.
Experience:
- 3–7 years experience in automobile service/workshop operations.
- Experience in two-wheeler dealership workshop preferred.
