We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our real estate team. The candidate will be responsible for developing interior concepts, preparing designs and layouts, coordinating with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors, and ensuring that projects are completed according to approved designs, quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts for residential and commercial properties.
- Prepare 2D layouts, 3D designs, mood boards, material selections, and presentations.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, site teams, and vendors.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor design implementation and quality.
- Prepare and review working drawings, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, lighting plans, and material specifications.
- Select appropriate furniture, fixtures, finishes, colors, fabrics, and other interior materials.
- Ensure designs comply with project requirements, building standards, and company guidelines.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and assist with material and vendor selection.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Manage design changes and resolve site-related design issues.
- Maintain project documentation, drawings, approvals, and material records.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in interior design, real estate, construction, or property development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max/Revit, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Good knowledge of materials, furniture, lighting, finishes, and construction methods.
- Strong understanding of space planning and design principles.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential or commercial real estate projects.
- Knowledge of current interior design trends and premium materials.
- Vendor and contractor coordination experience.
- Good presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a project team.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
