Operations Head – Furniture & Furnishings
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Operations Head to lead and manage operations across multiple locations for our client - Darpan Furnishings. The role involves ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, driving efficiency, and maintaining high operational standards across all units.
The candidate will oversee operations across 9 locations in Hyderabad, with occasional travel to Andhra Pradesh as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across all locations to ensure smooth functioning
- Maintain consistency in processes, quality standards, and overall efficiency
- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement
Team Coordination & Leadership
- Work closely with on-ground teams and supervisors to ensure effective execution
- Provide guidance, support, and direction to teams across locations
- Ensure alignment in operations and customer experience
Operational Planning & Process Improvement
- Implement and improve operational systems and workflows
- Monitor inventory coordination, process efficiency, and execution standards
- Identify challenges and drive timely resolutions
Performance Monitoring
- Track performance across locations and implement improvement strategies
- Conduct regular site visits to review operations and team performance
- Ensure discipline and consistency in operations
Management Coordination
- Collaborate with leadership on operational strategies and expansion plans
- Provide regular updates on performance, challenges, and improvements
- Support setup and operational readiness of new locations
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in operations in furniture, furnishings, home décor, or similar industries
- Experience managing multiple locations or cluster operations
- Strong leadership, coordination, and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Willingness to travel as required
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of operational workflows in furniture/furnishings business
- Ability to manage scale and expansion
- Good communication skills; knowledge of Telugu is an added advantage
