Job description:
A civil supervisor oversees and manages the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They coordinate and direct the activities of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers, and are responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Manage the construction process, including coordinating and directing workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Enforce safety regulations and building codes, and conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or violations
- Manage and resolve conflicts between parties involved in the project
- Maintain accurate records of progress, costs, and quality control measures
- Identify and address any issues or problems that arise during the construction process
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and permits
- Manage the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Requirements
- Qualifications in Civil Engineering or any other related field
- 5+ years of experience in civil construction, preferably in a supervisory role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
Pay: ₹8,924.27 - ₹45,273.60 per month
