Key Responsibilities
PreSales is a central role which interacts with multiple teams. Here is a brief on the key responsibilities.
(a) Working with Marketing Teams

Work closely with the product marketing team to develop and deliver outstanding client-specific presentations that support each stage of the sales cycle.
(b) Working with Sales Teams for Enterprise Customers
- Showcase the product features and benefits in a manner that addresses the client's identified needs and creates excitement about the product.

Facilitate client workshops, calls and data gathering techniques to uncover details of business challenges and opportunities, identifying the right need for the Ray Product line and creating the solution around it.
(c) Working with Sales Teams for Government Customers

Take ownership for completing RFI/RFP requests within agreed deadlines and to an exceptional quality.

Respond quickly and appropriately to client requests for information about the product's value, benefits and capabilities without compromising the commercial decision
(d) Working with Product Engineering Teams

Provide direct market feedback to product managers that can be used to influence the product roadmap.
Qualification
- Soft Skills

Require subject matter expertise in the relevant industry and complex sales processes, with operational experience to contextualize the solution for the client.

Prefer in-depth understanding of the product, pricing, scoping requirements, and ability to translate customer objectives into requirement.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills to present to audiences from C-Level to end-users, and the ability to articulate the product's value and gain trusted advisor respect.

The ideal candidate must be open, flexible and creative about time management and scheduling, with willingness to travel up to 50%.

Technical Skill
-
Thorough knowledge of Networking Technologies: DNS, DHCP, VPN, Network Security, IP Routing Protocols

Thorough knowledge of SD-WAN Technologies and experience of working on any of the SD-WAN products like Cisco, Lavelle, Versa or Fortinet.

Thorough knowledge of Wireless Technologies and experience of working on any of the Wireless products like Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Fortinet etc.

Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Red Hat would be preferred.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of industry experience as a PreSales Engineer or Sales Engineer working on the above technologies.
