Role Overview
The Critical Care Technician will assist intensivists, anesthetists, and nursing staff in providing life-saving care to critically ill patients. The role involves monitoring, operating specialized equipment, and delivering timely clinical support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and monitoring of patients in ICU, CCU, and Emergency areas.
- Operate and maintain critical care equipment such as ventilators, defibrillators, monitors, infusion pumps, and suction devices.
- Record and report vital signs, patient observations, and clinical changes promptly.
- Support physicians and nurses during emergency procedures, intubations, resuscitation, and bedside interventions.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities.
- Maintain readiness of emergency carts, equipment, and supplies.
- Prepare and set up equipment for bedside procedures.
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Provide assistance with patient mobilization and transport with monitoring support.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications & Skills Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Critical Care Technology / Emergency & Trauma Care / Anaesthesia Technology
OR
- B.Sc. Critical Care Technology / B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences (Specialization in Critical Care)
Experience:
- 0–3 years of experience in ICU / Emergency / Critical Care preferred
- Freshers with strong clinical training may also apply
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in handling ICU equipment
- Strong understanding of emergency protocols
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly in critical situations
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Work Schedule
- Rotational shifts (Morning / Evening / Night)
- On-call duty based on department requirements

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
