Summary of the company:
Senquire Analytics builds AI-powered Computer Vision and Automation systems that enable autonomous manufacturing. Our flagship platform EaglAI drives the evolution from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0 — uniting vision, AI, and edge computing to achieve zero-defect quality, real-time process insight, and intelligent workforce safety.
With strong investor backing from Germany and Singapore, Senquire is poised for 10× growth in the next three years. We are expanding our engineering team to strengthen the core backend infrastructure that powers our edge-AI deployments across global manufacturing plants.
Whats on offer for you: Join the Computer Vision team responsible for the intelligence behind EaglAI’s automated quality-inspection systems. You will own the complete Vision AI journey for industrial deployments—from selecting the right combination of cameras, vision hardware, and models to achieving the required inspection accuracy and commissioning the solution on the factory floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end Computer Vision and AI solutioning for each customer deployment, from understanding the inspection requirement through model selection, validation, commissioning, and production acceptance.
- Translate customer quality requirements into measurable AI performance targets and take responsibility for delivering the required accuracy, reliability, false-accept, and false-reject rates.
- Select the appropriate Computer Vision models, image-processing techniques, and inference strategies for different inspection applications and combinations of cameras.
- Collaborate with Computer Vision and Automation engineers to define the optimum vision hardware for each project, including cameras, lenses, lighting, triggering, mounting, and computing requirements.
- Design and govern image-capture, dataset-curation, annotation, training, validation, and model-evaluation procedures.
- Guide and manage junior engineers responsible for image collection, annotation quality, model training support, testing, and performance evaluation.
- Establish clear dataset and model acceptance criteria, ensuring that model performance is evaluated against representative production conditions and edge cases.
- Integrate, configure, and troubleshoot Computer Vision models within the EaglAI software suite, working effectively with its Linux- and Cbased technology stack.
- Travel to customer manufacturing sites and take ownership of the AI and Computer Vision commissioning of automated quality-inspection machines.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving image quality, vision hardware, model performance, inference behaviour, production variability, and integration with machine operation.
- Work closely with software, electrical, mechanical, automation, and customer teams to ensure that the complete inspection system meets its functional and performance requirements.
- Define and develop the team, tools, documentation, and processes required to govern datasets and models throughout the expected five-year lifecycle of each deployed machine.
- Monitor deployed model performance and manage model updates, retraining, validation, release, rollback, and traceability as products, processes, or operating conditions change.
- Maintain technical documentation for datasets, experiments, model versions, evaluation results, deployment configurations, known limitations, and commissioning acceptance.
- Contribute to reusable Computer Vision architectures, development standards, and best practices that improve the scalability and consistency of future EaglAI deployments.
