A teacher's primary role is to create a structured, supportive learning environment where students can develop academically, socially, and emotionally. They translate complex curriculum standards into engaging, age-appropriate lessons while tracking individual student progress.Key Responsibilities1. Instructional Delivery & Planning
- Lesson Planning: Design daily, weekly, and term-wise lesson plans aligned with curriculum frameworks (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, IB).
- Classroom Teaching: Deliver interactive lessons using various teaching aids, digital tools, and practical activities to accommodate different learning styles.
- Resource Creation: Develop worksheets, teaching materials, and projects to reinforce classroom learning.
2. Student Assessment & Reporting
- Evaluation: Conduct regular tests, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate academic progress.
- Feedback: Provide constructive verbal and written feedback to help students improve.
- Grading: Maintain accurate, up-to-date academic records and prepare report cards.
3. Classroom & Behaviour Management
- Environment: Maintain a disciplined, respectful, and safe classroom atmosphere.
- Mentorship: Address behavioural issues constructively and counsel students on personal or academic challenges.
4. Parent & Stakeholder Communication
- PTMs: Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings to update parents on student performance and behaviour.
- Collaboration: Work alongside school administration, coordinators, and fellow teachers to plan school events and inter-school competitions.
