Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervision & Administration: Supervises junior OT technicians and assistants regarding punctuality, duty delegation, and performance. Ensures the operating room is ready and sterile, handling scheduling and staff coordination.
- Intra-operative Support: Assists surgeons and anesthesiologists during complex procedures by managing instruments, monitoring patient vital signs, and ensuring equipment functionality.
- Equipment Management: Responsible for assembling, cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining complex surgical tools and machines, including anesthesia equipment and central oxygen systems.
- Infection Control & Safety: Ensures strict adherence to sterilization procedures, infection control protocols, and biological waste disposal.
- Patient Care: Prepares the patient for surgery, including positioning, transporting, and providing, or assisting with, post-operative care.
- Crisis Management: Responds to emergencies, both within the operating room and in other critical care areas.
Requirements:
- Education: A diploma or degree in Operation Theatre Technology or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience working as an OT Technician, demonstrating advanced technical skill and leadership abilities.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge of medical equipment, excellent communication, ability to stay calm under pressure, and leadership qualities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
