Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and target-driven Senior Education Counsellor from the EdTech industry to drive course enrollments through effective communication and sales strategies. The role involves engaging with prospective students or parents, understanding their needs, and converting leads into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- An Education Counselor acts as a bridge between a student’s current academic status and their future career goals. While a Telecaller focuses primarily on outreach, an Education Counselor combines consultative sales, mentorship, and academic advisory to guide students through complex decision-making processes.
Depending on the setting (e.g., a school, a study-abroad agency, or an EdTech company), the role can range from purely academic support to target-driven admissions counseling.
## Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Education Counselor to guide students and parents through their educational journeys. You will be responsible for assessing student profiles, recommending suitable courses or programs, and managing the enrollment or application process. The goal is to provide high-quality guidance that aligns with the student’s aspirations while meeting the institution's growth objectives.
### Key Responsibilities1. Counseling & Advisory
- Profile Evaluation: Analyze students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals to provide tailored recommendations.
- Course Selection: Advise on various programs, universities, and vocational paths, explaining the benefits and ROI of each.
- Mentorship: Provide emotional and motivational support to students facing academic stress or career confusion.
2. Admissions & Operations
- Application Support: Assist students with documentation, including Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), and visa paperwork (for overseas roles).
- Process Management: Manage the end-to-end enrollment cycle from initial inquiry to final admission.
- Knowledge Management: Stay updated on changing admission criteria, scholarship deadlines, and global education trends.
3. Outreach & Lead Management (Sales-Focused Roles)
- Lead Conversion: Convert inquiries into enrollments through professional follow-ups and personalized counseling.
- Workshops & Seminars: Conduct webinars or school visits to spread awareness about the programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Sales or Marketing preferred).
- 3–5 years of telesales or counseling experience in the EdTech sector.
- Strong communication and convincing skills in English (and regional language if applicable).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Excel for data management.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and target-oriented personality.
Compensation:
- Salary: 30K
- Working Days: 6days

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
