System Analyst (Strong Domain + API & Integration Focus)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced System Analyst (SA) with strong domain expertise and a solid background in API-based integrations and enterprise application delivery. The role requires a blend of system analysis, functional expertise, and technical understanding, enabling seamless translation of business requirements into scalable system and integration solutions.
The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and development teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
System & Requirement Analysis
Engage with business stakeholders, product owners, and domain experts to gather, analyze, and validate requirements.
Translate business needs into system requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
Perform gap analysis between current and target systems and recommend optimal solutions.
Ensure requirement clarity, completeness, and traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.
API & Integration Focus
Analyze and define RESTful API requirements, including request/response models, validations, error handling, and performance considerations.
Develop and maintain API specifications and interface contracts.
Support API design reviews, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.
Assess upstream/downstream system impacts for integration changes.
Collaborate with architects and developers on microservices and integration patterns.
Delivery & Collaboration
Act as a liaison between business, development, QA, and architecture teams.
Support system testing, integration testing, and UAT, ensuring requirements are correctly implemented.
Provide clarification and resolution for functional and integration-related issues.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews) as a functional lead.
Documentation & Governance
Create and maintain system design documents, interface specifications, process flows, and data flow diagrams.
Ensure end-to-end traceability from business requirements through development and testing.
Support compliance, audit, and governance activities as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
4 - 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong focus on System Analysis and Integration.
Proven experience in enterprise application delivery and system design.
Strong domain expertise (Healthcare preferred).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong stakeholder communication and requirement management skills.
Required Technical Skills
Strong experience in System Analysis and Enterprise Application Design
API technologies: RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, API contracts
Experience in microservices and integration architectures
Knowledge of authentication/authorization (OAuth, tokens, security protocols)
Familiarity with databases (RDBMS/NoSQL) and data modeling concepts
Ability to analyze application logs, API flows, and system interactions
