The School Photographer is responsible for capturing, editing, and managing high-quality photographs and videos of school activities, events, achievements, and day-to-day campus life. The role supports the school's branding, marketing, communication, and record-keeping requirements while ensuring that all visual content reflects the values and standards of the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Photography & Videography
- Capture photographs and videos of school events, assemblies, annual functions, sports meets, competitions, celebrations, workshops, and field trips.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of all assigned school activities.
- Document important milestones, achievements, and special occasions.
2. Student & Staff Photography
- Conduct individual and group photography sessions for students and staff.
- Take photographs for ID cards, yearbooks, school magazines, and official records.
- Organize and manage class photographs as per the academic calendar.
3. Photo & Video Editing
- Edit and enhance photographs and videos using professional software.
- Ensure consistency in quality, branding, and presentation.
- Prepare content suitable for print, digital media, and social media platforms.
4. Content Creation & Branding
- Create engaging visual content that showcases academic, sports, cultural, and co-curricular activities.
- Support the school's marketing and admissions initiatives through impactful visual storytelling.
- Assist in creating promotional videos, reels, and digital campaigns.
5. Digital Asset Management
- Maintain an organized archive of photographs and videos.
- Properly label, categorize, and store all digital assets.
- Ensure easy retrieval of content for future use.
6. Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, tripods, and related accessories.
- Monitor equipment performance and report repair or replacement requirements.
- Ensure readiness of equipment for all assignments.
7. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with school leadership, faculty, event coordinators, and administrative departments regarding photography requirements.
- Plan photography schedules and ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Respond promptly to requests for photographs and visual content.
8. Compliance & Confidentiality
- Adhere to school policies regarding student safety, privacy, and image usage.
- Maintain confidentiality of photographs, videos, and school-related information.
- Ensure ethical and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Professional training in photography and videography preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in photography and videography.
- Experience in educational institutions will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in DSLR/Mirrorless camera operations.
- Knowledge of lighting techniques and composition.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Canva, or equivalent editing software.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and visual storytelling skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours during school events and special programs.
Working Conditions
- Regular campus-based work with occasional outdoor assignments.
- Availability during weekends, holidays, and extended hours for major school events when required.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
