Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced UFT Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in test automation using UFT (formerly QTP). The candidate should have strong scripting skills in VBScript and solid experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts. Experience in SAP SuccessFactors (SF) modules such as Onboarding, Recruiting, and Employee Central will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using UFT/QTP.
Create test cases and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
Analyze test results and prepare detailed test reports.
Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or Quality Center.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
Support test planning, estimation, and automation strategy discussions.
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in test automation.
Strong hands-on experience with UFT (formerly QTP).
Proficiency in VBScript for automation scripting.
Good understanding of testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
Experience in creating test cases from business requirements.
Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Quality Center.
Knowledge of automation frameworks and best practices.
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
