Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to drive sales growth, expand distribution, and strengthen market presence within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have FMCG sales experience, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to achieve sales targets while managing distributors and channel partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive cumulative sales volume and achieve territory sales targets.
- Expand town coverage and outlet penetration as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Improve market coverage efficiency and effectiveness.
- Achieve planned sales volume and develop the sales team to meet business objectives.
- Drive sales of focus products such as Mustard Oil, Groundnut Oil, and Nuggets.
- Support the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in sales and operations planning and execution.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting and demand planning.
- Execute dealer, retailer, and distributor engagement programs.
- Plan, launch, execute, and track new product launches.
- Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
- Appoint and develop new dealers and expand the distribution network.
- Mentor, coach, and groom the sales team to improve performance.
- Monitor team productivity and ensure achievement of sales goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Any Graduate (Master's degree in Sales preferred).
- 4–6 years of experience in the FMCG industry.
- Strong distributor and channel management experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
- Ability to forecast sales and develop effective sales strategies.
- Adaptable, result-oriented, and committed to achieving business objectives.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in the Food Manufacturing/FMCG industry.
- Strong market networking and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
