Position Summary
Ideal Sheet Metal Stamping & Pressing Pvt Ltd is looking for an ITI Technician to join our Tool Room team. The candidate will be responsible for operating basic tool-room machines, supporting die maintenance and repair activities, performing fitting and assembly work, and assisting in troubleshooting tooling-related production issues.
Freshers with good technical knowledge and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manual tool-room machines such as Lathe, Drilling Machine and Surface Grinder.
- Perform fitting, assembly, dismantling, repair and maintenance of dies and tooling components.
- Assist in maintenance and repair of Progressive, Compound and Draw Dies used in sheet-metal stamping.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings and technical dimensions.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and gauges.
- Identify and assist in resolving tooling and production issues such as burrs, dimensional variation and improper forming.
- Perform basic grinding, drilling, filing, tapping and fitting operations.
- Support die setting, alignment and minor die modifications when required.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of dies, tools and equipment.
- Maintain tools and work areas in good condition.
- Follow all safety, quality and housekeeping procedures.
Candidate Profile
- ITI qualification in any of the following:
- Machinist
- Turner
- Tool & Die Maker
- Fitter
- Experience: 0–2 years in Tool Room, Die Maintenance, Press Tool, Sheet Metal or related manufacturing work.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments and mechanical fitting is preferred.
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings will be an advantage.
- Good attitude, discipline and willingness to learn.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
